Burrell Traction Engine, Painting and preserving iron time

Burrell Traction Engine, Painting and preserving Iron Following casting "Take 2" this time we have a winner, the draft angles were all left, and the casting allowed to look like a casting, rather than machining it like the previous one. Next bearing shells ordered and so the Hornplate's can be attempted more to follow when they arrive in the post. There is another engine for sale in a part-built state with wheels that I'm considering however the price seems to be soaring up past my budget for obtaining just the wheels. The final bid price £2000 well what can I say.
